In Arizona the Border Patrol is sponsoring a race car as a recruiting tool. They are acting macho in order to attract young macho men to do a job that we as a country should not be doing.

It is stunningly bad behavior and an incredible display of hubris by a government agency to use taxpayers money to make this awful job of being a Border Patrol agent look like a fun thing to do. It is the kind of recruiting that gets the wrong type of people into the Border Patrol and ends up with the shooting of innocent people. When will they learn.
