Strangers No Longer PDF Print E-mail

The Catholic Bishops published a Pastoral Letter about immigration titled Strangers No Longer in 2003. It is now available on line. I first wrote about it on Radical Migration the precursor to Radical Immigration in 2005.

Paragraph 35 of the letters is titled:
"Persons have the right to migrate to support themselves and their families."

The letter also equivocates about the rights of nations to control their borders. But the statement above is an idea right from Radical Immigration. The Catholic Church is to be applauded for being the first major organization to take this position as a moral/human rights issue. To read the entire letter on line click here: Strangers No Longer
