| The Cost Argument Defeated |

The Heritage Foundation reported that the cost of amnesty would be several trillion dollars and the right said “I told you so.” Do this simple test to see how wrong that report is. Without knowing any other facts which country is healthier; country one with a population that has an average age of 30 or country two with an average age of 50? Without immigration the US will be country two within a few decades. If we don’t allow a robust flow of young immigrants we will not have enough people to maintain the social welfare system. Thanks to Ben Wattenberg and his book "Fewer" for the data for this argument.
Not convinced. Try this test: which neighborhood will flourish in the
future? One with schools or one with senior citizen centers. Quote this article on your site | Views: 480
