These are the five simple rules that immigrants should follow to be accepted in their new societies:

  • • Pay your own way. Don’t be a undue economic burden on your adopted society.
  • • Learn the language and teach it to your children
  • • Learn and obey the laws and practices of the new culture.
  • • Be proud of where you came from but even more proud of the country that gave you a new home.
  • • Participate in the political, cultural and civic life of your new home.
