In 2007 Radical Immigration’s efforts were focused on completing the documentary film “Beyond Borders” . Below is a summary of the 2007 Goals we set for ourselves last January and the results we accomplished. If I were grading our performance I would give it a C-. There is lots of room for improvement. Radical Immigration Inc. goals and results for 2007 are:

• To have more than 5,000 unique visitors to the web site.
About unique 4000 visitors were measured (counting issues were encountered)
• To upgrade the site from a blog to a true navigable site.
Done
• To become a 501c3 organization and receive donations of more than $1000.00.
We did become a “not for profit corporation” and did file for 501c3 status.
We received $100 in donations and raised $1500 for CHIRLA
• To complete the documentary film and have it shown in the juried competition at one of the major film festivals.
We completed a better documentary than expected in September 2007 but have not yet been accepted at a major film festival
• To have a least two speaking engagements to audiences of greater than 100 people where we are able to espouse the principles of Radical Migration.
I spoke at the first screening of Beyond Borders and on the radio in San Diego
Our stretch goal for 2007 is to publish a pamphlet, loosely based on Thomas Payne’s Common Sense, making the argument for the Right to Migrate.
No work, except research, was done on this goal.
