I\'m not politacaly knowledgable to know who would have been a better choice. Mrs. Napolitano has been fighting to halt the construction of the 2billiion 670 mile barrier fence along the border from the get go. While she is a strong advocate of using security technology as a law enforcement tool, in the same sentence she talks about \"reform\", I\'m not sure the two are posible. She is mostly looked upon as someone who opposes border controls, enforcement policies and extreme legal measures. Please let me know who you think would have been a better choice and why you think she wouldn\'t fall in line of more humane treatment of immigrants. I was impressed when she hired Ray Borne, a former mayor of Douglas Arizona, who has also been criticized for his opposition to the fence for he feels it ignores \"interconectedness\" of U.S. and Mexico. Thank you for the Christmas card and for keeping in touch with me. Best wishes to you and your family! - Maria Lopez
