Radical Immigration Earns C- for 2007 performance

In 2007 Radical Immigration’s efforts were focused on completing the documentary film “Beyond Borders” . Below is a summary of the 2007 Goals we set for ourselves last January and the results we accomplished. If I were grading our performance I would give it a C-. There is lots of room for improvement.

Strangers No Longer

The Catholic Bishops published a Pastoral Letter about immigration titled Strangers No Longer in 2003. It is now available on line. I first wrote about it on Radical Migration the precursor to Radical Immigration in 2005.

Border Action

Last month a group calling themselves No Borders Camp were attacked by the Border Patrol as they were holding a closing rally in Calexico, California. Juan Estaban Ruiz was among three people arrested during the unprovoked attack. You can sign a petition asking the US Attorney in San Diego to drop charges against Juan.

Building walls is such a waste of money. They hardly work to repel armed invasions and all they can do against natural migrations is anger both sides and cost lives and money.
